Sarah Bo is a third year Medicinal Chemistry major and Neuroscience minor, a Presidential Scholar in Music, and proud recipient of the LaCava-LoDuca Family Music Scholarship and the Marie Thornton Willis & Miriam Carlyle Willis Scholarship.
She has been a cellist for fifteen years and participated in the Rivers Youth Symphony Orchestra as Principal cellist and the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra. Sarah was a student of Jane Sheena at the Rivers School Conservatory and is a current student of Evan Richey at Wake Forest University where she won Honorable Mention, third place, and second place in the 2022, 2023, and 2024 WFU Concerto Competitions, respectively.
Sarah is also Principal cellist and manager of the Wake Forest University Symphony Orchestra, a participant in the chamber music program, Principal cellist of the Triad Area Medical Orchestra, and teacher-mentor with the Wake Forest Chapter of Musical Empowerment. In addition to music, Sarah is interested in pursuing a career in medicine, focusing on the research and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
